Yin Yoga for Mobility

Physical Fitness Demand: Moderate

This Yoga class is designed to allow students to perform a deep stretch with their body in a slow-paced style. By stretching and deepening into various yoga poses, blockages inside bodies can be removed and internal energy is allowed to flow freely.

In Yin-Yoga practice, each yoga posture needs to be held longer than traditional style and maintained for 3-5 minutes. Class activities are modified to start by holding the postures for around 1 minute.  Duration of poses will only be extended when the participants feel confident and more comfortable to extend deeper in performing the postures.

Yoga mats will be provided.  Participants should wear loose sportswear, non-marking sports shoes.
