Pickleball is a fun, accessible sport, blending elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis, popular across all ages. The game can be played as singles, doubles, or mixed doubles.
The game is a simple paddle sport where two teams aim to score more points like tennis or badminton. A team scores when the opponent faults (e.g., misses the ball, hits out, or volleys in the kitchen). The scoring methods in the game are divided into serving-side scoring and rally scoring.
This class is designed to enable beginners to learn the fundamental skills in serving, dinking, returning of serve, smashing and slicing as well as the tactics in a game. The class will emphasize providing a lot of opportunities for participants to enjoy the fun of playing the game.
Participants should wear sportswear and non-marking sports shoes.
