Kendo Club

Objectives

  • Promote kendo in HKUST and improve skills of members;
  • Help freshmen to adapt to new lives in HKUST;
  • Help students to develop various virtues associated with kendo, such as sportsmanship, patience, perseverance, consideration and respect, through practice;
  • Allow students to release pressure and maintain psychological strength;
  • Help students to develop physical strength which is continuously neglected by people in Hong Kong;
  • Provide students with healthy recreations.
