Karate, a weaponless martial art, means of self-defense. It consists of dynamic offensive and defensive techniques using all parts of the body to their maximal potential.

The Students' Karate Club, HKUSTSU was founded in 1992. It is one of the dojo branches of the Karate-Do Goshin-Kan. At the same time, it is also a member of the International Karate-do Goju-kai Association as well as the Hong Kong Amateur Karatedo Association. Our club aims at promoting karate as a martial art through physical and mental conditioning. In order to foster our members' fortitude, we have regular practice throughout the year.
