Looking for a new goal to stay active, challenge yourself, and explore Hong Kong’s beautiful trails with fellow HKUST students? Join HKUST SOAR ETRC to build confidence, stamina, and connection through shared trail experiences.
This year, SOAR ETRC works toward the Victoria 162 H25 Race on 14 Mar 2027 — a 25 km journey across Hong Kong Island with an 8-hour limit that you can finish even by walking! If 25 km still feels too far after training, choose a 10 km self-directed race instead. Either way, you grow at your own pace — one step, one trail at a time.
Through 5-month progressive training led by professional coaches and a supportive community, you will build trail skills, stamina, and confidence.
What You'll Experience:
Trail running training for all fitness levels
Outdoor sessions on scenic Hong Kong trails
Skills in safety, pacing, gear, fueling, uphill/downhill techniques, and race prep
A supportive community of fellow SOAR Explorers
Space to grow at your own pace
Final race: Victoria 162 H25 OR a 10 km self-directed race
All levels welcome — no running experience needed. Just bring curiosity, commitment, and a willingness to take the next step!
