In “My First Trail Run - Four Trail Series” hosted by HKUST SOAR Guide, we aim to help you discover your interest in going outdoors. Whether you are a beginner with zero experience or an intermediate hiker, you are welcome to join us!  

SOAR Guides will introduce safety and emergency handling tips to give you confidence in exploring the wild. We hope to spark a new hobby for you as you conquer the trail and enjoy the scenery with us! Trail running is an optional component, so feel free to participate at your own pace! 

Our fourth trial will take place in Lantau Trail Section 12. Let’s conquer the Lantau Trail together! 

Date: 26 May 2026 (Tuesday) 

Time: 10:00am-2:30pm 

Meeting point: Tung Chung 

Dismissal point: Mui Wo

Remarks:  

1. We will take a bus from Tung Chung to Pui O upon meeting. You can take the bus back to Tung Chung or the ferry to Central after dismissal at Mui Wo.  

2. Successful registrations will receive confirmation via email. More details will be sent to you through email upon successful sign up. 

3. This event is subsidized by the Dean of Students’ Office (DSTO). After accepting the offer, if you cannot attend the event in full with legitimate reasons supported by the proof (illness or an exam conflict), DSTO reserves the right to charge you HK$50 program fee.
