Description: |
In an era of constant digital stimulation and endless choices, university students often struggle to construct a meaningful life narrative. This workshop explores the scientific foundations of meaning in life through positive psychology research, with special emphasis on coherence, the cognitive component that helps us make sense of our experiences and identity. Drawing from Viktor Frankl's legacy and contemporary meaning in life (MIL) theory, participants will discover how the three pillars of meaning in life (coherence, purpose, and significance) interconnect, with coherence serving as the essential foundation for constructing life's meaning. This workshop also addresses how to harness social media as a tool for coherence-building while avoiding its potential fragmenting effects on our sense of self. |
