One-week Spanish Challenge
Registration Link:https://register.cle.ust.hk/ilang_eb/
A one-week blended challenge that takes absolute beginners from zero Spanish to holding a short conversation: a 2-hour live kick-off workshop, six days of short daily online tasks completed independently, and a 2-hour finale workshop to put it all together. Along the way participants learn to pronounce Spanish confidently, greet and introduce themselves, handle simple transactions, and ask and answer everyday questions — with the daily rhythm building a genuine study habit in a week.
Learning objectives:
-
Pronounce Spanish accurately and read aloud with confidence.
-
Greet, introduce themselves and exchange basic personal information in a first-meeting exchange.
-
Ask and answer simple everyday questions.
-
Handle basic transactions in a café or shop, including numbers, prices, ordering and paying.
-
Sustain a daily language-learning routine, completing short self-study tasks independently across six consecutive days.
-
Identify resources and next steps for continuing with Spanish beyond the challenge week.
