To join our dynamic team, you will engage in:
- 4 skill workshops conducted by a professional walking tour designer from Walk in Hong Kong
- 1 experience tour at Kowloon City to see how an engaging professional walking tour is run
- 2 trial walks to iterate your group’s tour design and get feedback from mentors
- Meetups with a mentor for tour development, and to uncover oral history in HKUST
You can also lead tours as a Guide for other HKUST students! See the Program Schedule for dates.
The program costs over HK$9,000* per student, BUT Everything is FREE if you participate in full. As a student leader in our team, you also have priority access to a FREE 2-day-1-night tour to Guangzhou (18-19 Jan 2025) even if you are not in the Guangzhou group! A Certificate will be issued to recognize your contribution to HKUSTours (Student-Edition) upon the full completion of the program.
*If you cannot complete the program in full due to legitimate reasons supported by proof (illness or an exam conflict), DSTO reserves the right to charge you HK$1500.
