In November 2024, 17 students embarked on an enriching 2-day trip to Guangzhou (GZ), immersing themselves in the city's vibrant cultural heritage and experiencing life at HKUST (GZ). 

On Day 1, they explored the historical Yongqing Lane, discovering its cultural significance and connection to Hong Kong, before participating in a hands-on movable type printing workshop. Their overnight stay at the HKUST (GZ) accommodations provided a taste of student life and fostered community among the group. 

Day 2 featured a campus tour led by the 2023-24 HKUSTours (SE) guides, showcasing the unique aspects of HKUST (GZ) and facilitating interactions with local students. This experience broadened their horizons and strengthened their bonds as a group, marking a memorable chapter in their development journey.
