Typhoons or Rainstorms
In Case of Typhoons or Rainstorms
  • When there is a typhoon, rainstorm signal or extreme condition announcement, take necessary precautions and make sure all loose items are properly fastened and all windows are closed.
  • When typhoon signal No. 8 or above is hoisted, all normal activities on campus will stop.
  • When typhoon signal No. 8 or 10 or a black rainstorm signal is hoisted or when "Extreme Conditions" is announced, stay indoors wherever you are and do not leave the building until the signal is lowered and the condition is safe to do so.
Classes/Examinations Arrangement in case of Typhoon & Rainstorm Black Warning
 
All (including online) classes/examinations will normally be cancelled when the Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted or when Typhoon Signal No. 8 is to be hoisted within 2 hours.
