Badminton for Beginners
Physical Fitness Demand: Moderate
 
Badminton is one of the sports which is recognized for quick movements and rapid exchanges of shots.  It is popular worldwide and is known for its fast-paced and exciting gameplay. Playing badminton requires players to have good agility, speed, and reflexes. Badminton matches can be played at various levels, from casual recreational games to professional tournaments.
Skills in grips, service, forehand clear, drop short, smash, net shot and footwork will be introduced. Tactics, scoring, regulations and rules will also be taught throughout the class.
Rackets and shuttlecocks will be provided.
 
Participants should wear sportswear and non-marking sports shoes.
