Dance facilitates the development of body control, rhythmical sense, agility and balancing ability. Jazz dance is a form of modern dance which is heavily influenced by the sounds and rhythms. The style can be varied with fusion of different dances such as hip hop, modern dance, ballet and Latin dance. It can be powerful and percussive or expressive and lyrical.
 
This class is designed for beginners and emphasizes on exploring interest and fun in jazz dances. The basic dancing steps, body movements and dance sequences with different music genre ranging from jazz, pop, R&B and Latin will be introduced. Class activities also include body isolations workout, stretching exercises, physical training exercises, as well as combinations of stylish steps and movements.
 
Participants should wear sportswear and non-marking sports shoes.
